We couldn't help but mention this large metal chicken coop/run by LEMBERI. This particular model is quite large at nearly 20', so it is not going to be an appropriate size for everyone. However, they have multiple different sizes available to suit your specific space requirements.
If you are trying to be more self-reliant, there are plenty of good reasons to raise chickens, but one thing you will most certainly need is an enclosure of some kind, similar to this one. Chickens are vulnerable to a number of wild predatory animals, so make sure to put some protection around your valuable foul. This enclosure will also work for other small animals such as rabbits, quail etc.
With an average 4.3 stars out of over 200 ratings, many customers would agree that this coop is well worth the price. Although, due to it's affordability, you should not be expecting a fortress.
